All About S Days!

Continuing the theme of my last post talking about Evening Programs, I have another part of camp that is always a ton of fun!

For those of you who don’t already know this, Birch Hill runs on a three day schedule. It starts with B Day, then H Day, and finally we have S Day. S day stands for special day. Each S Day we drop our regularly scheduled activities and do something totally different!

 On any given S Day your cabin could be participating in activities on or off camp. Some of our off camp trips include spending a day at the beach, going to a nearby water park, or my favorite which is hiking the beautiful Mount Major! Campers look forward to going on a few of these trips while attending Birch Hill.

On camp S Days are always a ton of fun! Each S Day has some sort of theme around it ranging from The Hunger Games, to Pokemon, Carnival Day and more. Most on camp S Days start by splitting into teams that include campers from all different cabins. These teams will work together in various games and activities throughout the day. In the afternoon campers get to spend time at the waterfront and relax after a busy day before dinner.
