Camp Birch Hill Weddings

Wednesday, November 28th, 2018

For most of you, when you think about Camp Birch Hill you picture campers singing songs around the campfire at the Circle of the Pines, riding horses down the Burley Trail, canoeing out on Marchs Pond, enjoying meals in the Wildwood Cafe, performing Lip Syncs in the Rec Hall, playing Capture the Flag in the soccer field, swinging through the trees on the High Ropes Course and doing all kinds of other fun activities.

These are the joys of camp life. Each summer is jam packed with endless fun and so many wonderful memories are made. Then, when the campers all go home at the end of the summer, we open up the property for weddings. Birch Hill is still just as amazing, and that is why we love sharing its magnificence with our camp brides and grooms.

Having a wedding at Birch Hill means that you get to experience the magic that campers feel with your friends and family on your special day. Much like camp, everyone is assigned a cabin and our directors are there to show you where to go and assist in activities like the rock wall and building campfires. Best of all, Rich is there to give rides on the golf cart or take you where you need to go in the big blue bus. The fun never stops at Camp Birch Hill!

To top off an epic wedding weekend, you can choose to have your own private fireworks display to light up your special night!

What makes Birch Hill so special for a wedding day is the Lily Garden. Designed and planted with extra camp love by Chrissy herself, it’s the most beautiful little treasure on the property.

Below (and above) are pictures of Chrissy and Mike’s wedding on August 22nd, 2015 by Mon Petit Studio. It was such a wonderful day, so magical that it was featured in the wedding magazine ‘The Knot.’

Being able to continue spreading the camp spirit in the fall is always a lot of fun. Coordinated by Chrissy and Mike, they work closely with the brides and grooms, their wedding planners and their families to ensure their special weekend is a memorable one.

Below are pictures of Kyra and Matt’s Camp Birch Hill wedding from August 25th, 2018 by Kivalo Photography. Kyra used a beautiful macrame backdrop for her ceremony that she designed herself (Mermaid Macrame Designs). Their wedding was definitely one for the books and as you can see they really got into the spirit of camp by lighting sparklers around the fire and dining down at the waterfront.
