Camp Birch Hill is ideally located in the southern foothills of the White Mountains within the beautiful Lakes Region of New Hampshire. Less than two hours north of Boston, our camp is nestled on a sandy beach shoreline at the edge of a large crystal clear pond with some of the best water quality in the state! Our award winning staff is is a group of caring, fun-loving and friendly counselors who create an inclusive community that feels like every camper’s home away from home.
Our camp activities are facilitated in a way that encourages campers to develop skills and explore new interests in a safe and fun environment. Campers can choose their own adventure in our elective model by selecting from 50 daily activities. Our “personal choice” program empowers campers to try a multitude of activities throughout their stay and to customize their schedule to suit their individual interests and aspirations. Massive evening games like capture the flag, campfires, socials, cookouts, theatre productions, lipsync battles, cabin skits, carnivals and our exciting off-camp adventures round out an active summer packed with fun. Campers leave here happy and fulfilled, having made friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.
Our facilities include frontage on a beautiful pond with a private sandy beach, a horse stables, a high ropes course, sports fields miles of trails for biking and riding horses, an arts and crafts pavilion, a cafeteria with tons of indoor and outdoor seating , a rec hall with six ping pong tables, a music room, tennis/pickleball courts, an indoor and an outdoor stage for our theater program, beach volleyball, tennis/pickleball courts, basketball courts, a dodgeball arena, and a 300ft zipline!
