We love staying in touch with our camp families throughout the year and sharing memories from summers past so we asked some of our friends on Instagram to share their favorite photos from camp this past summer.

CAMP BIRCH HILL STAFF SPOTLIGHT:
MATTEO ROSINA
We caught up with our international, all -star counselor Matteo Rosina from Italy to find out what he’s been up to since camp ended.
By the sounds of things he had an incredible trip around the USA.
He told us that after camp he flew to LA with fellow Italian counselor Sveva where they waited for Matteo’s brother Marco.

After that they travelled to Yosemite National Park. Matteo tells us it was there they went to the best spot ever: The Taft Point. “We were alone there and everything was perfect.”
From there they went to San Fransisco and then on to visit with camp owner Rich Morell and the Butler’s Julie, Alex and baby Aria.

After there they went to Death Valley, Monument Valley and then all the way to San Diego. “While we were there I pressed ‘the Italian Fellowship,’ to go to Tijuana.”
Matteo tells us it was a little dangerous but he was impressed that just over the boarder they found a whole different world.
They spent their last three days in Venice Beach, “the water was cold but nice.” Back in Italy Matteo attended his best friends wedding and he cut his hair!!
He’s currently working in a high school as a teacher aid and helping kids with special needs in the afternoon. Thank you for sharing Matteo! Life is beautiful! You rock!

Matteo wasn’t the only one cruising around the wild west this fall. If you aren’t following our camp dog Toby on his Instagram then you are missing out on some very cool dog adventuring.
Toby aka @summercampdog and camp owners Chrissy and Michael Carter took to the road this fall and visited many beautiful places. They drove from east to west and then back again! What a journey!
We asked Toby to share his favorite picture from his trip and by no surprise he showed us this picture of him visiting baby Aria in Lake Tahoe.

We appreciate your feedback!
Have a new activity idea or a suggestion? We would love your feedback!  We strive to make Camp Birch Hill the best place it can be, and continue offering new and exciting activities.  Please let us know if you have any ideas that can make camp even better!
From your friends at Camp Birch Hill!
